(Google AdMob)
(Google Analytics for Firebase)

Privacy Policy: Egyptian Curriculum Books (كتب المنهج المصري)
Effective date: October 15, 2026
Egyptian Curriculum Books (by Nakhtu Ya Masr) is a free, ad-supported app developed by Turki Abdullah that lets students read the Egyptian school textbooks (general, Al-Azhar and technical education) offline. This page explains what happens to your data when you use it.
In short
- The app has no accounts or sign-in, and it never asks for your name, email, phone number or any other personal information.
- We do not collect any personal information about you, and the app has no server of ours. We use Google Analytics for Firebase for anonymous usage statistics (such as which screens are opened and which books are read most) to improve the app.
- The app asks for your birth year once. For users under 13, ads are child-directed and non-personalized and the advertising ID is not used. For users 13 and over, the advertising ID may be used and ads may be personalized, subject to your consent.
Stored only on your device
The app stores the following on your device only, never sending it anywhere: the last page you read in each book, your favorite books, your book-grid layout, the time of the app's first launch (used to show no ads for the first 8 minutes), and when an ad-free period earned from a rewarded ad ends. All of it is deleted when you uninstall the app.
Downloading books
Each grade's books are downloaded through Google Play (Play Asset Delivery), the same way apps are installed. Downloads are governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app uses Google AdMob to show ads, configured so that:
- Before any ad, the app asks for your birth year once and keeps it only on your device.
- Under 13 (or age unknown): every ad request is tagged for child-directed treatment, so ads are non-personalized, limited to the G rating, and the advertising ID is not used.
- 13 and over: Google AdMob and its partners may use the advertising ID to serve and measure ads, and ads may be personalized. Ad content is limited to the PG rating. You can reset or delete the advertising ID in your device settings.
- In the EEA and the UK we ask for your consent with Google's consent form before showing personalized ads; you can change your choice any time under About → Privacy and ad settings. Users there under 16 don't get personalized ads.
- The Privacy Sandbox ad APIs are turned off in the app.
To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the AdMob SDK may collect technical information from your device, including: IP address (from which an approximate, country/city-level location may be derived), device and OS type, the app set ID, ad interactions (such as impressions and taps), and crash and performance data. This data is sent to Google encrypted and processed under the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from partner apps. The app never collects your precise location.
Usage statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase)
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the app is used in aggregate: number of users, screens opened, grades downloaded, books opened, and session length. Collection of the advertising ID, the Android ID and ad-personalization signals is turned off. Firebase may collect a random app instance ID, device and OS type, and an approximate location derived from the IP address. This data is sent to Google encrypted and processed under the Google Privacy Policy; we do not use it to identify you.
Ad partners through AdMob
AdMob may also show ads from Meta Audience Network through AdMob mediation. We enable the "mixed audience" mode Meta requires for apps used by children. Those ads are governed by the Meta Privacy Policy.
Children
The app contains textbooks for every grade, including kindergarten and primary school, so it may be used by children under 13. It is designed to be safe for them: no accounts, no personal information collected by us, child-directed, non-personalized, G-rated ads without the advertising ID for users under 13, and no full-screen ads while reading. The app complies with the Google Play Families Policy. Parents can contact us at the email below with any questions.
Permissions
The app only uses internet access and network state, plus the background-download permissions Google Play uses to finish downloading books (foreground service and wake lock). It does not request access to photos, files, contacts, camera, microphone, or precise location.
Data deletion
We keep no data about you, and uninstalling the app removes everything it stored on your device. Data processed by Google for advertising can be managed in your Google Account settings. For any request about your data, email us and we will reply within 30 days.
Content
This app is NOT a government app and is not affiliated with the Egyptian Ministry of Education and Technical Education, Al-Azhar, or any government entity. The books are taken from publicly available materials published by the Ministry (ellibrary.moe.gov.eg) and the Al-Azhar Institutes Sector (mtrl.azhar.gov.eg), and from public links to technical-education guides.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time and will show the new effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept it.
